We are looking for a Benefits Administrator in Melbourne, FL! Hybrid role - 1-2 days a week remote depending on where you are located Temp to perm
Pay: $20-$22/hour while temp - will be a pay increase once perm

Benefits Coordinator Job Details: The Benefits Administrator is responsible for the comprehensive administration of the organization’s employee benefits programs, including health and welfare plans, retirement benefits, wellness initiatives, and leave of absence programs such as FMLA, ADA, and other statutory leaves. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, maintains accurate employee benefit records, and provides superior customer service and communication to employees and internal stakeholders. Duties: Administers employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans. Administers daily processing and maintenance of benefits via the HRIS system, ensuring timely completion of enrollments, changes, terminations, COBRA, life events, claims, rollovers, and distributions.

Education and experience for benefits coordinator: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 3+ years of experience in executing wellness strategies along with benefits administration preferably with self-funded benefit programs Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR), preferred Strong knowledge of employee benefits laws and regulations (ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, etc.) Experience working with vendors and other external partners to coordinate program offerings Experienced in maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive health-related data with discretion
