About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Bankruptcy Paralegal to join a dynamic legal team in Orlando, FL. Key Responsibilities:
-Manage bankruptcy cases from start to finish, including drafting petitions, schedules, and related documents.
-Communicate with clients and attorneys, providing updates and gathering necessary documentation.
-Conduct legal research on bankruptcy laws and procedures.
-Prepare and file motions, pleadings, and other court documents.
-Review and analyze financial statements and assist in strategy development.
-Support attorneys during hearings and trials, including organizing exhibits and case materials.
-Maintain calendars, schedule appointments, and manage filing systems.
-Stay current on bankruptcy law developments through continuing education.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate required.
-3–4 years of experience as a Bankruptcy Paralegal or in a related legal field.
-Strong knowledge of bankruptcy laws, court rules, and procedures.
-Proficiency in legal research, document drafting, and case management software.
-Excellent communication and organizational skills.
-Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software applications.
