A nationally recognized commercial banking organization is seeking a high-performing Business Banker to drive relationship growth within the small-to-mid-sized business segment. Position Overview
The Business Banker will be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of business clients, delivering tailored lending, deposit, treasury, and cash management solutions. This role is ideal for a consultative sales professional who thrives on building long-term client partnerships while contributing to market growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage a portfolio of business clients (typically $1MM–$20MM in annual revenue).
Generate new business through prospecting, networking, and centers of influence.
Structure and underwrite commercial loans including C&I, owner-occupied CRE, lines of credit, and term loans.
Cross-sell treasury management, merchant services, and deposit products.
Partner closely with credit, underwriting, and operations teams to deliver seamless execution.
Maintain strong asset quality through proactive portfolio management and risk monitoring.
Represent the bank in the community and participate in networking events.
Qualifications
3+ years of business banking or commercial lending experience.
Proven track record of business development and portfolio growth.
Strong credit acumen and ability to analyze financial statements.
Demonstrated success in cross-selling and relationship expansion.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
