Bank Operations Specialist/Officer

Seeking an experienced Bank Operations Specialist (or Branch Operations Officer) with 5+ years of banking experience (8+ years for Officer level) to oversee branch operations, mentor staff, and support business growth.

Responsibilities:
• Lead daily branch operations, including staff scheduling, transaction approvals, and banking compliance with federal and state regulations
• Train, coach, and develop tellers, bankers, and customer service representatives to deliver outstanding client service
• Oversee account services, including new account openings, teller operations, callbacks, and banking dispute resolution
• ,Ensure branch security, operational reporting, audits, and required certifications are accurate and completed on time
• Partner with the Branch Manager on business development, customer retention, cross-selling, and promotional initiatives
• Motivate and develop staff through goal setting, performance management, and recognition of high performance

Qualifications & Skills:
• Specialist Level: 5+ years of retail banking experience, including 2+ years in bank operations and supervision
• Officer Level: 8+ years of banking leadership experience, including 4+ years in branch operations and supervision
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, core banking systems, and branch operations software
• Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills
• Notary Public designation preferred
