Bank Operations Specialist

Seeking an experienced Bank Operations professional. This role provides leadership, training, and operational support to branch staff while ensuring excellent client service and compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulations. The position works closely with the Branch Manager to drive branch growth, strengthen operational standards, and support both customer service and sales initiatives.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day branch operations, including scheduling staff, approving transactions, and ensuring adherence to policies and regulatory requirements.
• Train, guide, and support team members to deliver exceptional customer service and operational excellence.
• Assist with account services, including new account openings, teller functions, callbacks, and dispute resolution.
• Ensure branch security, compliance, and accurate completion of operational reports and certifications.
• Support the Branch Manager in business development, customer retention, and promotional activities.
• Provide leadership in setting team goals, motivating staff, and recognizing strong performance.
• Supervise branch employees, including performance management, scheduling, and transaction approvals.

Qualifications:
• Specialist Level: Minimum 5 years of banking experience, including at least 2 years in operations and 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Officer Level: Minimum 8 years of banking experience, including at least 4 years in operations and 4 years in a supervisory role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and banking software applications.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer relationship skills.
• Notary Public preferred.
