We are seeking an experienced Bank Manager for a direct hire opportunity in San Jose, CA. This management-level role is ideal for a banking professional with a strong background in branch leadership, deposit growth, operational compliance, customer relationship management, and team development. Responsibilities - Hire, train, coach, and develop branch employees while conducting regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and ongoing performance management. - Drive deposit growth, customer retention, and new account development through sales strategies, outbound calling, business networking, and community engagement. - Monitor branch performance, audit readiness, operational controls, expenses, reports, overdrafts, exceptions, and compliance with bank policies and banking regulations. - Resolve complex customer service issues, support business and consumer account needs, and model a customer-first service culture. - Represent the branch in local business and community organizations while supporting CRA-related initiatives and volunteer participation. Qualifications - Proven sales ability and documented branch growth - Minimum of 7 years in a branch environment - Minimum of 5 years branch management experience - Minimum of 3 years management of complex business and consumer accounts - Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills - Experience in hiring, training, coaching and performance management of employees - Active involvement in business related local community organizations (i.e., Rotary, Chamber of Commerce, etc.) -Notary Public preferred
