Position Title: General Manager – Banking Operations



Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead and coordinate the daily operational activities of the bank. This role is critical to ensuring operational excellence, driving process improvements, and supporting the strategic objectives defined by the executive leadership. The General Manager will build strong cross-functional relationships to optimize performance, develop talent, and maintain compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities
Direct all operational aspects of the bank to guarantee the effective execution of policies, procedures, and service standards.
Work closely with senior leadership to implement initiatives that align with the organization’s mission and goals.
Evaluate operational performance through established metrics and proactively recommend improvements.
Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional development across departments.
Facilitate onboarding and training programs for new team members, ensuring comprehensive understanding of banking operations, products, and compliance requirements.
Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports on operational results, including monthly performance summaries for executive review.
Review, improve, and document operational workflows and protocols regularly to maintain efficiency.
Ensure full compliance with banking laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies, including the Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act, and related legislation.
Lead and support additional projects or responsibilities as assigned by executive leadership.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive management experience within banking or financial services.
Fully bilingual in English and Spanish, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Proven track record of effectively managing teams and driving operational success.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems efficiently and implement solutions.
Skilled in developing and executing training and development programs.
Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to cultivate high-performing teams and foster a positive workplace culture.
Knowledge of quality assurance practices and a strong attention to detail.
