Brake Press Operator / Fabricator
-Location: Santa Ana, CA
-Shift: 1st Shift
-Pay: $24–$30/hour DOE
We are seeking an experienced Brake Press Operator / Fabricator to join a dynamic and expanding manufacturing company in Santa Ana. This position is ideal for a skilled individual with experience setting up and operating press brake equipment, interpreting blueprints, and producing precision metal components with a strong focus on quality and safety.
-Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience operating brake press machinery in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with precision measuring tools and quality inspections.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes and tooling.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• CNC brake press experience is a plus.
• Excellent work ethic, reliability, and commitment to producing quality work.

Key Responsibilities
• Set up and operate brake press machinery to bend and form sheet metal components according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
• Select proper tooling and make machine adjustments to ensure accurate bends and dimensions.
• Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments such as calipers, tape measures, and gauges to verify quality standards.
• Perform basic fabrication duties, including drilling, grinding, deburring, and assembly as needed.
• Monitor production processes and troubleshoot issues to maintain efficiency and quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow company policies and safety procedures while meeting production goals and deadlines.
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to improve processes and maximize productivity.
