## **Vehicle Operations Associate / Automotive Valet**

### **Position Overview**

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Vehicle Operations Associates to support daily operations within a controlled automotive distribution yard. This role focuses on safely moving vehicles through defined processing stages, performing basic vehicle checks, and supporting facility operations. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, outdoor yard environment and operating both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.

### **Schedule**

* **4/10 shift model:** Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
* **Hours:** 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
* **Overtime:** Limited; may be available on scheduled days off or weekends based on volume, primarily in Q4

### **Qualifications**

* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Valid Driver’s License issued by any U.S. state
* Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required
* Basic automotive knowledge
* Ability to operate **manual transmission** vehicles
* Ability to lift and carry up to **50 lbs**
* Physical capability to perform tasks including driving, pulling, kneeling, reaching, standing, twisting, walking, climbing, pushing, squatting, hearing, reading, and writing
* Ability to work in environments with temperature variations and elevated noise levels

### **Key Responsibilities**

* Drive and manage the flow of vehicles through designated processing stages
* Operate car wash equipment
* Operate fuel pumps
* Perform First Point of Rest (FPOR) battery voltage checks
* Assist with basic facility maintenance as needed
* Support cross-training initiatives for increased skill levels, including VDC IT systems
* Safely operate vehicles within a controlled yard environment
* Move vehicles between parking areas, processing facilities, and designated truck pads

### **Work Environment**

* Work is conducted entirely on-site; no off-premises vehicle transport
* Clearly defined parking spaces and drive aisles
* Directional indicators and posted speed limits
* Emphasis on safety, accuracy, and adherence to yard protocols
