We are seeking an Automotive Technician for a direct hire opportunity in Shreveport, LA. This role is a great fit for dependable automotive professionals who enjoy hands-on repair work, steady shop volume, and a Monday through Friday schedule.
This opportunity is open to technicians at multiple skill levels, from newer mechanics with basic maintenance experience to experienced technicians skilled in diagnostics, engine repair, transmission work, and major mechanical repairs. Key Responsibilities
- Perform general automotive repair, maintenance, and mechanical service work on a variety of vehicles.
- Complete oil changes, preventative maintenance, brake repairs, suspension repairs, and related automotive services.
- Diagnose vehicle concerns and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.
- Repair or replace engines, transmissions, and related components based on skill level.
- Maintain quality workmanship while meeting productivity expectations in a flag-hour environment.
- Follow shop procedures, safety guidelines, and professional service standards.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $25 flag hour.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday.
- Hours: Unlimited hours available based on workload.

- 3 to 5 years of automotive repair or vehicle maintenance experience preferred for experienced technician roles.
- Basic to advanced automotive mechanical skills, depending on experience level.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools, hand tools, and shop equipment safely and effectively.
- Understanding of automotive systems, including brakes, suspension, engines, transmissions, and electrical components.
- Strong work ethic, dependability, attention to detail, and commitment to quality repairs.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented shop environment with steady service volume.
Preferred Qualifications
- ASE certifications or related automotive technical training.
- Experience with engine diagnostics, transmission repair, electrical troubleshooting, or major mechanical repairs.
- Previous experience working in a flag-hour automotive service environment.
- Ability to complete repairs efficiently while maintaining strong quality standards.
