Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and resolute Audit Manager to lead audit engagements, oversee teams, and ensure the delivery of high-quality audit services. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive audit experience, and a deep understanding of accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through completion, ensuring compliance with professional standards
Supervise, mentor, and develop audit staff to maintain a high-performing team
Review audit workpapers, financial statements, and reports for accuracy and completeness
Coordinate with clients to gather information, address issues, and provide clear communication throughout the audit process
Identify areas for process improvement and risk management, providing strategic recommendations
Stay updated on relevant accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS) and regulatory requirements
Support business development initiatives and contribute to firm growth
Qualifications:
CPA designation required; additional certifications such as CIA or CISA are a plus
Minimum 5 years of audit experience with progressive leadership responsibilities
Strong knowledge of GAAP, auditing standards, and regulatory compliance
Proven experience managing audit teams and client relationships
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Proficient with audit software and MS Office; experience with IDEA, ACL, or other data analytics tools is a plus
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail
