We’re looking for an experienced Electronics Repair Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and test our company’s audio and IP-based products returned from end users.
What You’ll Do
• Keep safety first—always
• Evaluate and troubleshoot returned audio products
• Diagnose and repair electronics at the component level (amplifiers, speakers, PCBs)
• Troubleshoot IP networking issues, card-level failures, and scalable audio systems
• Perform post-repair testing to meet factory specifications
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and engineering instructions
• Document repair history and flag repeat failures to Engineering/Quality
• Help train junior techs and share best practices
• Recommend process improvements when you see opportunities
• Maintain a clean, organized workbench
What You Bring
• 3+ years of component-level electronics repair experience (audio preferred)
• Strong soldering ability—surface mount and thru-hole REQUIRED
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools (oscilloscope, multimeter, function generator, etc.)
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
• Strong organization and time-management skills
• Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
• Proficiency in MS Office
Bonus Points For:
• A 2-year electronics or technical degree
• Experience with LAN/WAN networking, TCP/IP, or Linux
• Knowledge of VoIP system testing
• Leadership or mentoring experience
• Continuous improvement mindset
Work Environment
• Bench-level repair work
• Some standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Warehouse-style environment with typical dust levels
