Job Overview:
As an Associate Planner, you will play a key role in supporting Financial Planners through client interaction, administrative support, and account management. This is a 100% on-site position based in Washington State. Candidates must reside in Washington State to be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Financial Planners with daily activities including preparing correspondence, income plans, and client reports.
Interact with clients in person and over the phone, delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring client needs are met promptly.
Prepare and review new account paperwork with accuracy and compliance.
Facilitate and resolve client service requests in a timely, professional manner.
Apply operational and client-service process knowledge to improve efficiency.
Independently manage tasks and deadlines while supporting overall team objectives.
Organize and prepare all necessary paperwork for client meetings.
Safeguard sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality.
Oversee administrative office functions, including supplies and mail management.
Perform additional duties as needed to support practice success.
Required Qualifications:
Licenses: Series 7, Series 66, and active insurance licenses (required).
Experience: Minimum 2 years in financial services or insurance industry.
Strong knowledge of compliance, client service, and financial planning support functions.
Detail-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences.
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and team-oriented mindset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, Redtail, or similar) and financial planning software such as Morningstar, eMoney, or MoneyGuidePro is highly preferred.
