Position Summary
We’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Associate Financial Planner who is eager to grow within the financial services industry. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a supportive environment, enjoys digging into data, and is passionate about helping people make informed financial decisions. You will work alongside experienced financial planners, playing an essential role in plan preparation, client service, and day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparing for and participating in client meetings, including data gathering and plan updates
Develop comprehensive financial plans and cash flow analyses using industry tools
Help implement financial planning strategies and follow up on client action items
Respond to client inquiries and provide white-glove service through clear, professional communication
Maintain accurate, organized client documentation and ensure timely updates
Support internal process improvements and contribute to the overall efficiency of the firm
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Financial Planning, Accounting, or a related field
1–3 years of experience in a financial planning or client service role within a financial advisory firm
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Familiarity with financial planning software (e.g., eMoney, MoneyGuidePro) is a plus
