Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Associate Director of Admissions for a direct hire opportunity in Tampa, FL. This role is ideal for an achievement-oriented admissions and enrollment management professional who enjoys leading teams, improving enrollment performance, and supporting prospective students through an important educational decision.
The Associate Director of Admissions will help oversee the successful operation of the Admissions Office while also contributing directly to enrollment production. The ideal candidate will bring strong admissions experience, supervisory leadership, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to motivate a talented admissions team to meet campus enrollment goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and manage admissions staff to support individual and department enrollment goals.
- Develop, review, and monitor recruitment and enrollment strategies for campus programs.
- Analyze admissions metrics, enrollment trends, and performance data to guide decision-making.
- Oversee admissions, enrollment, and orientation operations to ensure effective service delivery.
- Partner with admissions leadership on hiring, training, mentoring, and team accountability.
- Promote campus programs to prospective students while maintaining strong service standards.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary: $70,000 per year.
Job Type: Direct Hire.
Location: Tampa, FL.
Schedule: Must be able to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed to meet business objectives.

Required Qualifications and Skills
Primary duties and projects for this role include:
- Managing day-to-day admissions office operations and enrollment performance.
- Leading and developing admissions staff to meet goals and expectations.
- Implementing recruitment and enrollment strategies using performance metrics and trend data.
- Supporting prospective student engagement for campus programs.
Required qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of three years of experience in admissions or enrollment management.
- Minimum of two years of supervisory experience.
- Experience with recruitment strategies, enrollment goals, admissions operations, and performance metrics.
- Strong understanding of contemporary enrollment management systems and processes.
- Ability to lead, mentor, motivate, and hold admissions team members accountable.
- Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment with changing priorities.
- Availability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, as business needs require.
Preferred Qualifications
- Admissions or enrollment management experience in healthcare or nursing education.
- Experience working with for-profit colleges, universities, institutes, or career-focused education programs.
- Demonstrated success improving admissions performance, lead conversion, and enrollment outcomes.
- Experience recruiting, training, developing, and managing admissions or sales-focused teams.
