Job Summary
An established and fast-paced litigation firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Personal Injury practice in Orlando, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys 1–2 years out of law school who are looking for hands-on experience, strong mentorship, and early responsibility handling cases.
Key Responsibilities
-Handle high-exposure personal injury litigation cases from inception through trial with supervising partner
-Conduct accident scene investigations with experts
-Analyze liability, causation, and damages
-Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda
-Take and defend depositions, including expert depositions
-Attend hearings and argue motions
-Interview witnesses and coordinate with experts
-Conduct legal research and case strategy analysis
-Negotiate with opposing counsel and participate in mediations
-Work collaboratively while managing your own caseload
Qualifications
-Florida Bar license in good standing (required)
-1–2+ years of litigation experience preferred (personal injury experience a plus)
-Plaintiff or defense experience acceptable
-Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
-Experience with depositions, hearings, and mediation
-Ability to manage files from inception through trial
-Strong academic credentials
-Excellent attention to detail and work ethic
-Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
