Job Summary

A well-established law firm in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its growing Insurance Defense practice on a direct hire basis. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated attorney with 0 to 3 years of experience who is eager to build litigation skills, gain hands-on case exposure, and work closely with experienced legal professionals.

The Associate Attorney will be part of a collaborative, team-oriented legal environment where strong writing, research, advocacy, and professional growth are valued. This role offers meaningful case involvement, mentorship from senior attorneys, and the opportunity to develop practical litigation experience within a stable and supportive practice group. Key Responsibilities

- Handle insurance defense matters and advocate professionally on behalf of clients.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, legal correspondence, and case-related documents.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys, paralegals, and legal staff to develop case strategy and prepare for litigation.
- Assist with hearings, discovery, case preparation, and litigation support activities.
- Manage deadlines, communicate effectively, and support efficient case progression in a fast-paced legal setting.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $85,000 to $100,000 per year.
- Direct hire opportunity.
