Job Summary

A respected medical malpractice defense law firm in Winter Park, FL is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join its growing litigation team. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a litigation attorney who wants meaningful case responsibility, strong mentorship, and the opportunity to build a long-term career within a collaborative legal environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage civil litigation and medical malpractice defense matters from inception through resolution.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, legal memoranda, and other case-related documents.
- Conduct legal research and prepare well-supported written analysis for case strategy.
- Take and defend depositions, attend hearings, and participate in court proceedings.
- Communicate with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and internal team members regarding case status and strategy.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys while independently handling assigned case responsibilities.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range of $100,000 to $150,000+ annually, depending on experience.
