Position Overview

A well-established, rapidly growing community association law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its St. Petersburg office. This role will focus on transactional and general operational issues for condominium, townhome, and homeowners’ association clients. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who enjoys building client relationships and contributing to the growth of the office.

This position offers an excellent working environment, a family-friendly culture, and the opportunity to grow alongside a strong, supportive team. Initial training will be provided by the Orlando partners.

Key Responsibilities

Provide legal counsel on transactional and operational matters to HOA, condominium, and townhome clients.

Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.

Represent clients in civil litigation, real estate, or banking-related matters as applicable.

Engage in networking and client relationship-building to support office growth.

Collaborate with partners, associates, and staff to deliver high-quality client service.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Active and in good standing with the Florida Bar.

Minimum 2 years of relevant legal experience (HOA, civil litigation, real estate, or banking preferred).

Strong organizational, drafting, and communication skills.

Outgoing and client-focused personality – must be comfortable networking.
