Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Advisor to join our growing financial advisory team in Altamonte Springs. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in wealth management while gaining hands-on experience alongside a primary advisor. The Associate Advisor will support client service, planning, investment management, and gradually transition into managing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Input and maintain client data in financial planning software
Gather and organize product and investment information
Prepare materials for portfolio review and client meetings
Assist the primary advisor with meeting preparation and follow-up
Attend select client meetings as a secondary advisor to:
Take detailed notes
Complete dictations and action items
Participate in:
Product wholesaler lunch & learns
Advisor Think Tank sessions
Investment Committee meetings
Learn and apply investment management and financial planning strategies
Maintain and service “servicing-only” client relationships
Manage the AOE process
Manage insurance cases and applications
Begin managing client relationships as experience grows
Qualifications & Skills
Strong organizational and time-management skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Professional communication and interpersonal skills
Interest in financial planning, investments, and client advisory work
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
Willingness to learn and grow into a client-facing advisory role
