We are urgently looking for an Assistant to the Property Manager who will support the daily operations of residential and commercial properties by handling tenant relations, coordinating maintenance, and managing administrative tasks. This Assistant to the Property Manager will be responsible for leasing units, collecting rent, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of retail or commercial properties, ensuring tenant satisfaction and property performance
Manage leasing activities, including tenant acquisition, renewals, and lease administration
Coordinate property maintenance, repairs, and improvements to ensure a safe and attractive environment
Prepare and manage property budgets, financial reports, and expense tracking
Monitor rent collection, delinquent accounts, and enforce lease terms as needed
Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to maintain property standards and control costs
Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety codes, and industry standards
Respond promptly to tenant inquiries, complaints, and emergencies
Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs and operational improvements
Develop and implement strategies to enhance occupancy rates, tenant retention, and property value
Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience in office administration, property management industry preferred
Degree in business or related field preferred
Bilingual in English and Mandarin preferred
Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business software
