Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager / Leasing Assistant for a temp-to-hire opportunity supporting a 180-unit residential property in Concord, CA. This role is ideal for a leasing or property management professional who enjoys a mix of resident interaction, administrative support, leasing coordination, and property operations.
This position offers the opportunity to join a busy multifamily property environment where organization, customer service, and follow-through are highly valued. The successful candidate will work closely with property staff, support current and prospective residents, and help keep daily operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities
- Assist current and prospective residents with leasing inquiries, applications, tours, and general property support.
- Maintain accurate tenant files, leasing documents, invoices, and records in property management systems.
- Process administrative tasks including data entry, scanning, copying, filing, document organization, and invoice support.
- Respond to resident questions, coordinate service request support, and provide professional customer service.
- Support daily leasing operations by preparing paperwork, scheduling appointments, and assisting with move-in related documentation.
- Partner with property staff to ensure smooth communication, accurate records, and efficient day-to-day operations.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $24 to $26 per hour.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Support leasing operations for a residential multifamily property.
- Manage tenant records, leasing documents, invoices, and administrative files.
- Provide resident-facing customer service and assist with leasing inquiries.
- Use property management software and Microsoft Office tools to maintain accurate records.
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of leasing or property management experience required.
- Experience in residential property management or multifamily housing required.
- 1 or more years of experience using property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, Knock, or similar required.
- Strong administrative skills, including data entry, document management, invoicing, scanning, copying, and filing.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with residents, prospects, and property staff.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a fast-paced property management environment.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling both administrative and resident-facing responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual Spanish skills are strongly preferred.
- Prior experience supporting a multifamily residential property of similar size is preferred.
- Experience with Yardi, OneSite, Knock, or similar property management platforms is highly preferred.
