Assistant Project Manager (Construction)

Compensation: $70,000–$100,000 (commensurate with experience)
A well-established and growing organization in the construction industry is seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager to support the successful delivery of a variety of projects. This is a confidential search for a team-oriented professional looking to grow within a dynamic environment.
Position Overview
The Assistant Project Manager will work closely with senior project leadership and field teams to help drive projects from early planning through completion. This role offers exposure to project financials, scheduling, coordination, and client interaction, with occasional travel as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Support overall project execution, including coordination, documentation, and communication
Assist with budgeting, cost tracking, and financial oversight
Help maintain project schedules and workflows
Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
Contribute to quality control and safety compliance efforts
Prepare and manage project documentation and contracts
Participate in project closeout activities
Qualifications
Degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred
Approximately 2+ years of experience in construction project support or similar role
Working knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and job site safety
Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
Proficiency with common project management and office software tools
Work Environment
This role involves a combination of office and field work. Candidates should be comfortable working on active construction sites and in varying environmental conditions.
