Assistant Bank Branch Manager/Operations

We are seeking a dedicated banking professional to provide personalized banking services to our financial institution clients. This role requires a strong knowledge of Banking Operations, with the ability to lead, train, and support staff members effectively. The ideal candidate will have an extensive understanding of banking products and services and will work closely with the Branch Manager to promote branch growth and success. Responsibilities include scheduling branch staff to ensure proper coverage, maintaining compliance with all bank policies and applicable state and federal regulations, and overseeing branch documentation and operational standards. This position also involves maintaining branch security by coaching staff on security procedures, resolving client account disputes, handling daily operational duties such as file maintenance and overdraft reports, and performing teller duties including opening new accounts. The candidate will provide ongoing training and development, recognize exceptional staff performance, and foster a positive customer experience. In partnership with the Branch Manager, this role supports customer retention, sets team goals, and assists with promotional activities. Strong problem-solving skills, professionalism, and the ability to creatively resolve difficult situations are essential. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of five years of banking experience, at least two years of supervisory and operations experience, and proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and banking software.
