We’re partnering with a Tucson-based client who is adding an Asset Accountant to their accounting team. This role focuses on fixed asset accounting and supports the accuracy of the general ledger and financial reporting.

What this role will handle:

Maintain fixed asset records, including additions, disposals, and transfers
Track and calculate depreciation each accounting period
Reconcile fixed asset schedules to the general ledger
Prepare asset-related journal entries
Support month-end and year-end close
Assist with audit requests related to fixed assets
Work with internal teams to ensure proper capitalization and documentation

What they’re looking for:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2+ years of accounting experience; fixed asset or general ledger experience preferred
Experience working in Yardi or other MRI property management/accounting software
Working knowledge of depreciation methods and capital expenditure accounting
Experience using ERP systems and Excel for reconciliations and reporting
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
