We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Semiconductor Assembly Services Production Manager to oversee the daily manufacturing, assembly, scheduling, and fulfillment of semiconductor-related custom solutions and assembly service projects. This role serves as a key leader within production operations, ensuring assemblies are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with customer specifications and quality standards.
The Production Manager works closely with production planners, buyers, estimators, warehouse personnel, and assembly technicians to drive operational excellence, maintain production schedules, and support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities
Production & Operations Management

Lead and coordinate daily semiconductor assembly production activities to ensure on-time completion of customer orders.
Schedule production workloads and prioritize jobs to meet customer delivery requirements.
Prepare and distribute job instruction packets and manufacturing documentation.
Monitor workflow, staffing levels, and production capacity to maximize efficiency and productivity.
Ensure all assemblies are built according to approved specifications, certifications, and established manufacturing procedures.

Assembly & Quality Excellence

Oversee assembly operations including semiconductor-related components, custom cable assemblies, electromechanical assemblies, and value-added manufacturing services.
Utilize product certification programs and approved assembly processes.
Ensure adherence to quality standards, workmanship requirements, and customer specifications.
Support achievement of key Quality Objectives, including:

Ship to Promise
Order Accuracy
Inventory Accuracy
Gross Profit Improvement (GPI)



Continuous Improvement & Lean Manufacturing

Promote and implement Lean Manufacturing principles throughout production operations.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, safety, and productivity.
Participate in and lead continuous process improvement initiatives.
Ensure standard work procedures and operational processes are consistently followed.

Leadership & Collaboration

Foster a culture of respect, teamwork, accountability, and customer focus.
Demonstrate active listening, empathy, and professional communication in all interactions.
Collaborate with planners, buyers, engineers, warehouse personnel, and customer-facing teams to resolve production challenges and optimize workflow.

Qualifications
Education & Certifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Assembly certifications, IPC certifications, or semiconductor manufacturing certifications preferred.

Experience

Previous experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or semiconductor production environment required.
Experience in warehouse distribution, electronics assembly, semiconductor manufacturing, or related industrial operations preferred.
Previous production scheduling, team leadership, or supervisory experience strongly preferred.

Physical Requirements
