Our client is hiring an Assembly Services Technician to join the Operations team and play a key role in producing custom solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations.

As an Assembly Services Technician, you will be responsible for building assemblies according to customer specifications and certification guidelines. You’ll collaborate with production planners, buyers, estimators, and warehouse associates to ensure smooth production, packing, and shipping processes. Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workspace will be a key part of your role, as will following lean manufacturing principles and standard work procedures to achieve quality objectives such as Ship to Promise, Order Accuracy, and Inventory Accuracy. Additionally, you’ll identify and participate in process improvements to enhance safety, savings, and productivity, while also scheduling production and creating job instruction packets as needed. Your success in this role will be measured by one key metric: 100% completed assemblies for the day.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need a high school diploma (Assembly Certifications are preferred) and some experience in a manufacturing environment. Warehouse distribution or related experience is a plus. You should have proficient computer skills, the ability to lift 40 pounds, and the physical capability to perform tasks such as bending, stretching, and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail, basic math and English skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to multi-task are essential. You’ll also need to understand product features and benefits and be aware of scheduling and delivery needs.
