A client of ours in the Fremont are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assembly Services Technician to join their Operations team. In this role, you will support the manufacture and assembly of Custom Solutions/Assembly Services by working closely with production planners, buyers, estimators, and warehouse associates. You will build, pack, and ship assemblies that meet customer specifications while utilizing our internal product certification program.
Key Responsibilities
-Build assemblies according to certification guidelines and the PROFITS approvals process.
-Demonstrate passion, active listening, and empathy to help achieve our quality vision: to be our customer’s favorite story and greatest competitive advantage.
-Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
-Apply lean manufacturing concepts to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
-Meet Quality Objectives including Ship to Promise, Order Accuracy, Inventory Accuracy, and GPI.
-Follow established processes, standard work procedures, and safety guidelines.
-Participate in ongoing process improvement initiatives.
-Assist with scheduling production and creating job instruction packets as needed.
-Assembly certifications preferred
-Experience in a manufacturing environment required
-Warehouse, distribution, or related experience preferred
-Proficient computer skills
-Ability to lift up to 40 pounds; comfort with bending, stretching, and standing for long periods
-Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
-Basic math and English skills
-Awareness of scheduling and delivery timelines
-Mechanical aptitude
