Job Title: Assembly Technician
• Location: Milpitas, CA. 95035
• Great Pay up to $25/hr.
Immediate need for an Assembly Technician seeking to work for a local South Bay Area Manufacturing company in the Semiconductor field.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Build assemblies as required
• Complete housekeeping duties as assigned to ensure an efficient, accurate and tidy facility
• Exercise lean manufacturing concepts when and wherever possible
• Achieve Quality Objectives of Ship to Promise, Order Accuracy, Inventory Accuracy and GPI
• Follow our processes and standard work procedures
• Identify and participate in continual process improvements
• Schedule production and create job instruction packets as required
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
-Assembly Certifications preferred.
-Some experience in a manufacturing environment required.
Warehouse distribution or related experience preferred.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
• Proficient computer skills
• Ability to lift 40 pounds, bending, stretching, stooping on your feet for the majority of the day
• Basic math skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task
• Capability to understand and apply features and benefits of product offering
• Awareness and response to scheduling and delivery needs
• Mechanical Aptitude
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Continually required to sit or stand
• Occasionally required to move around an office, production or warehouse environment
• Continually required to communicate with various stakeholders
• Continually required to read and view a computer screen
• While performing the duties of this job
