We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our team in Bolingbrook, IL. In this role, you will assemble and test copier and printer mainframes per customer specifications, ensuring each unit meets quality and functionality standards before shipment.
Location: 254 Internationale Dr, Bolingbrook, IL 60440
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
Driving Required: No
Parking: Free on-site
Responsibilities
• Assemble hardware components and install them into copier/printer mainframes.
• Perform operational checks using a standardized checklist and QA process.
• Analyze and troubleshoot equipment failures, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Close jobs in WMS and track hours to manage productivity.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and quality guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to lift equipment safely (up to 50 lbs. with assistance).
• Complete all administrative tasks accurately and on time.
Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of related experience (assembly, warehouse, or mechanical work).
• Basic mechanical, electronic, and computer skills.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs. (team lifting for heavier items).
• Willingness to work overtime when required.
