A local client has an immediate need for an assembly technician. This is role that is in the Fremont area. The following skills will be important to ensure success.

Build assemblies according to Swagelok certification guidelines and the PROFITS approvals process
Maintain a clean, efficient, and organized work environment by performing assigned housekeeping duties
Apply lean manufacturing concepts whenever possible

Assist in scheduling production and preparing job instruction packets as needed

Education & Experience
Education
High school diploma required
Assembly certifications preferred

Work Experience
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment required
Experience in warehouse distribution or a related field preferred

Proficient computer skills
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform bending, stretching, stooping, and standing for most of the workday
Strong attention to detail
Basic math and English proficiency
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand product features and benefits
Strong awareness of scheduling and delivery requirements
