We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Technician to support the manufacture and assembly of Custom Solutions / Assembly Services. This role works closely with production planners, buyers, estimators, and warehouse associates to build, pack, and ship assemblies that meet exact customer specifications while following our product certification program.

?? Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment such as Tesla is highly preferred, as this role requires strong attention to quality, efficiency, and lean manufacturing principles.

Key Responsibilities

Build and assemble products according to Swagelok certification and the PROFITS approval process

Demonstrate passion, active listening, and empathy to support our quality vision of being our customer’s favorite story

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet production schedules and customer requirements

Schedule production and create job instruction packets as needed

Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment

Apply lean manufacturing concepts to improve safety, quality, and productivity

Support quality objectives including Ship to Promise, Order Accuracy, Inventory Accuracy, and GPI

Identify and participate in continuous process improvements

Follow all standard work procedures and company processes

Education & Experience

Education

High School Diploma required

Assembly certifications preferred

Experience

Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment required

Prior experience at Tesla or a similar high-volume, quality-driven manufacturing environment strongly preferred

Warehouse or distribution experience is a plus

Skills & Competencies

Proficient computer skills

Mechanical aptitude with strong attention to detail

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day

Basic math and English skills

Ability to multi-task and meet production deadlines

Understanding of product features and benefits

Strong awareness of scheduling and delivery needs
