Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Associate for a temporary contract opportunity in Wyandotte, MI. This role is ideal for someone with manufacturing, production, inspection, or assembly experience who enjoys hands-on work in a structured, safety-focused environment.
As an Assembly Associate, you will inspect finished products, perform basic assembly and finishing tasks, use measuring tools, record production data, and support efficient daily operations. Key Responsibilities
- Inspect finished products for defects and complete minor assembly and finishing tasks.
- Record inspection results and production data accurately in electronic systems.
- Use rulers, gauges, and small hand tools to verify products meet required specifications.
- Follow standard operating procedures, safety guidelines, and required PPE protocols.
- Perform routine equipment safety and quality checks and assist with equipment changeovers.
- Move inspected materials to designated staging areas and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $16.50 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
- Job type: Temporary contract.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Inspect finished products and identify defects using strong visual attention to detail.
- Perform basic assembly, finishing, and production support tasks.
- Record production and inspection data accurately in electronic systems.
- Use measuring tools and small hand tools to support quality standards.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant manufacturing, production, assembly, or inspection experience preferred.
- Stable work history with at least 1 year in previous positions.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Comfortable sitting for extended periods while performing detailed tasks.
- Basic English communication skills, including written and verbal communication.
- Basic math skills.
- Experience using measurement tools such as rulers and gauges.
- Strong attention to detail and good visual acuity.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and wear required PPE, including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection.
- Ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues independently or with team members.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in an assembly line, quality inspection, or production environment.
- Experience recording production or inspection information in electronic systems.
- Comfort working in a structured manufacturing environment with safety and quality standards.
