We are seeking Assemblers for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Downey, CA. This role is a strong fit for dependable candidates with hands-on skills, basic tool knowledge, and an interest in building a long-term career in manufacturing, production, or assembly.
Assemblers will support daily production by assembling components, using hand and power tools, following work instructions, and maintaining quality standards. This opportunity offers a team-oriented environment, supportive leadership, and a path to grow with a stable manufacturing operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble parts, components, or products according to work instructions and quality standards.
- Use basic hand tools and power tools safely and accurately.
- Inspect completed work for quality, consistency, and proper fit.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
- Follow production schedules, safety procedures, and supervisor direction.
- Support team members and help meet daily production goals.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $22 to $27 per hour.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
- Assemble components using hand tools, power tools, and standard production methods.
- Follow assembly instructions, production procedures, and quality requirements.
- Inspect finished work and report issues or defects as needed.
- Maintain safe work practices in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Basic experience using hand tools and power tools.
- 1 to 2 years of related hands-on experience preferred for this assembler role.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Dependable work habits, punctuality, and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive assembly tasks as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous assembly, manufacturing, or production experience.
- Experience working on an assembly line or in a fast-paced production environment.
- Familiarity with quality checks, work orders, or basic production documentation.
