We are seeking an experienced Assembler Technician for a full-time contract opportunity in Fremont, CA. This role is ideal for a dependable, hands-on manufacturing professional with assembly experience in high-volume production, electric vehicle, automotive, or advanced manufacturing environments.
The Assembler Technician will support assembly, packing, shipping, inventory accuracy, and production coordination in a structured, quality-focused setting. Key Responsibilities
- Assemble products according to certified assembly procedures, customer specifications, and quality standards.
- Pack, prepare, and ship completed assemblies while ensuring order accuracy and proper documentation.
- Support production planning by preparing job instruction packets and coordinating workflow needs.
- Partner with warehouse, purchasing, and production teams to meet daily deadlines and production targets.
- Maintain inventory accuracy while following SOPs, safety requirements, and manufacturing guidelines.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and aligned with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay Rate: $25.00 to $27.50 per hour.
- Employment Type: Full-time, contract/temporary.
- Location: Fremont, CA 94538.
- 1st Shift Schedule: 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
- 2nd Shift Schedule: 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM.
- Perform hands-on product assembly in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.
- Support packing, shipping, documentation, and order accuracy activities.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and follow established production procedures.
- Coordinate with warehouse, purchasing, and production teams to support daily workflow.
- 3 to 5 years of assembly, production, or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience working in high-volume manufacturing, automotive, electric vehicle, or advanced manufacturing environments is strongly preferred.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow assembly procedures, job instructions, SOPs, and quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy, safety, and quality workmanship.
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort using basic hand tools or production equipment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while meeting deadlines and production goals.
- Dependable attendance, strong work ethic, and ability to maintain an organized work area.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with lean manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement practices.
- Prior experience supporting packing, shipping, inventory control, or production coordination.
- Familiarity with manufacturing documentation, job travelers, work instructions, or quality check processes.
- Experience in electric vehicle, automotive, clean technology, or high-volume assembly environments.
