Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assembler Technician for a full-time contract opportunity in Fremont, CA. This role is a strong fit for a hands-on manufacturing professional with 2 to 5 years of assembly experience, especially within a high-volume electric vehicle, automotive, or advanced manufacturing production environment.

The Assembler Technician will support fast-paced assembly, packing, shipping, inventory accuracy, and production coordination activities. Key Responsibilities

- Assemble products according to certified assembly procedures, customer specifications, and quality standards.
- Pack, prepare, and ship completed assemblies while ensuring order accuracy and proper documentation.
- Support production planning activities, including preparing job instruction packets and coordinating workflow needs.
- Partner with warehouse, purchasing, and production teams to help meet daily deadlines and production targets.
- Maintain inventory accuracy while following SOPs, safety requirements, and manufacturing guidelines.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and aligned with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay Rate: $25.00 to $27.59 per hour.
- Employment Type: Full-time, contract/temporary.
- Location: Fremont, CA 94538.
- Schedule: 1st shift, 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
- Schedule: 2nd shift, 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Assemble manufactured products according to documented work instructions and quality standards.
- Support packing, shipping, production preparation, and daily workflow coordination.
- Maintain accurate inventory, organized work areas, and compliance with SOPs and safety procedures.

- 3 to 5 years of relevant assembly, production, or manufacturing experience.
- Prior experience in a high-volume electric vehicle, automotive, or similar manufacturing environment.
- Ability to follow certified assembly procedures, job instructions, and customer specifications with accuracy.
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort using basic assembly tools and production equipment.
- Strong attention to detail, dependability, and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while meeting daily output goals.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with warehouse, purchasing, and production teams.
- Commitment to workplace safety, cleanliness, and continuous improvement practices.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting production planning, job packet preparation, or workflow coordination.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement practices.
- Experience with packing, shipping, inventory control, or warehouse support in a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing production priorities and shift-based manufacturing schedules.
