Position Summary: The Assembler will be responsible for assembling, soldering, and inspecting printed circuit boards (PCBs) and related electronic components according to company standards, drawings, and specifications. This role requires precision, steady hands, and the ability to follow detailed work instructions in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities: Assemble, solder, and install electronic components onto PCBs according to schematics, diagrams, and work instructions. Operate hand tools, soldering irons, microscopes, and other assembly equipment with precision. Perform visual inspections and testing to ensure quality standards are met. Identify and troubleshoot assembly issues, reporting defects to supervisors. Follow safety, ESD (Electrostatic Discharge), and quality control guidelines at all times. Maintain accurate documentation of completed work. Collaborate with team members and support continuous process improvements. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred. Previous experience in electronic assembly, specifically with printed circuit boards (PCBs). Proficiency in soldering and working with small hand tools. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions. Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a production environment. Preferred Skills (a plus, but not required): IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 certification. Experience with surface mount technology (SMT) and through-hole assembly. Familiarity with quality assurance testing procedures.
