Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Assembler/Packer for a contract/temporary opportunity in La Vergne, TN. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on production work, team collaboration, and rotating through different assembly and packaging tasks throughout the manufacturing process.

As an Assembler/Packer, you will help fabricate, assemble, inspect, and package manufactured products by hand while supporting a clean, safe, and organized production environment. Key Responsibilities

- Assemble, fabricate, and package manufactured products or product components by hand.
- Perform manual and light mechanical assembly tasks according to production requirements.
- Rotate through multiple tasks within the production process to support team efficiency.
- Operate required assembly tools or equipment as needed for assigned work.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all safety procedures.
- Support team goals by communicating effectively and completing assigned duties accurately and on time.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $16 per hour.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Assemble and package manufactured products or components in a production environment.
- Perform hands-on fabrication, manual assembly, and light mechanical assembly tasks.
- Rotate through production tasks and support team-based workflow.
- Maintain safety, organization, and quality standards throughout the shift.

- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Experience working in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to complete work thoroughly and accurately.
- Ability to follow safety policies, procedures, and production instructions.
- Basic math skills, including adding and subtracting 2-digit numbers and multiplying and dividing with 10s and 100s.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and regularly sit, stand, or walk during the shift.
- Ability to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Manual dexterity to reach, handle items, work with fingers, and identify attributes of objects and materials.
- Ability to talk, hear, and use close vision, color vision, and focus adjustment as required for the role.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in assembly, packing, production, manufacturing, or warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with rotating production tasks in a team-based assembly line environment.
- A strong safety mindset and willingness to support continuous improvement in the work area.
