About the Role
We’re hiring a detail-driven Medical Device Assembler to support the assembly, inspection, testing, and packaging of medical devices and components. This role may work in a controlled cleanroom environment and requires precision, consistency, and strict adherence to standardized procedures. Work is closely reviewed to ensure quality and compliance in a regulated manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities
• Assemble medical devices and components using microscopes, hand tools, razor blades, syringes, soldering, adhesive bonding, and production equipment
• Perform visual inspections and precision measurements on components and finished assemblies
• Test units using computerized test equipment
• Repair and rework devices/components using microscopes and applicable tools
• Package devices, ensuring accuracy of parts and completeness of documentation
• Maintain accurate records (travelers, shop floor paperwork, quality documents) to ensure traceability and quality
• Follow all safety guidelines and use appropriate PPE and safety equipment
• Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives to meet production, quality, and profitability goals
• Notify supervisor/lead of material needs, equipment issues, or production challenges
• Support individual and cell performance metrics with Manufacturing Supervisor/Manager
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work environment
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements
• High school diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or medical device production
• Ability to read and follow English written procedures (6th grade level)
• Basic math skills (6th grade level)
• Ability to speak and communicate effectively in English
• Comfortable using electronic data collection systems and basic computer software
• Excellent manual dexterity to handle small, delicate components
• Strong time management and prioritization skills
• Ability to make sound decisions with minimal supervision
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment (as applicable)
