Job Opening: Assembler – Manufacturing/Production
Department: Manufacturing/Production Reports to: Operations Planner, VP of Engineering, President Status: Non-Exempt
Must have Electrical Assembly Experience!
About the Role
We’re looking for an Assembler! This role is all about building high-quality products by following detailed instructions, blueprints, and specifications. You’ll work independently at times, but also collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and manufacturing teams.
Assemblers may also receive training and certification in soldering to TEI standards.
What You’ll Do
Assemble complex production parts and products.
Use hand tools, power tools, and production equipment.
Follow detailed written and verbal instructions (blueprints, travelers, routers).
Perform precision assembly to meet exact tolerances.
Work independently while contributing to team goals.
Participate in training and certification programs.
Handle other tasks as assigned by production management.
What We’re Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Previous ESD training (or willingness to complete within 30 days of hire).
Preferred Experience (not required):
Soldering experience (fine point soldering under microscopes).
In-process inspection experience.
Skills & Qualities
Strong attention to detail and precision.
Good hand-eye coordination, finger dexterity, and steady hands.
Ability to understand spoken instructions and communicate clearly.
Dependable, cooperative, and a positive team player.
Honest, ethical, and motivated to learn.
ITAR Requirements
Applicants must meet U.S. Government space technology export regulations:
U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual as defined by ITAR (22 CFR120.15).
Or eligible to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
Work Environment
Frequent use of hand tools and equipment.
May require standing or sitting for long periods.
Noise level is typically quiet to moderate.
