Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Assembler to build, wire, and test electro-mechanical products used in the aerospace industry. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble and test mechanical and electro-mechanical components and subassemblies
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and written work instructions
Perform point-to-point wiring for power and control systems
Build cables, including crimping and connector pin insertion
Perform light-duty soldering (non-PC board level)
Measure, inspect, and verify product quality throughout the build process
Identify, document, and report defects or discrepancies to engineering or supervision
Clean, assemble, disassemble, and replace parts as required
Maintain organized and accurate production records
Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Experience & Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of experience assembling electro-mechanical devices
Strong hands-on technical skills
Experience working with small mechanical and electrical components
Comfortable using Windows-based computer programs for documentation and testing
Skills & Qualifications
Ability to read and follow drawings, schematics, and build instructions
Strong attention to detail and quality
Clear verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Organized, accurate, and process-driven
Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and remain stationary throughout the workday
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements
Warehouse environment with fluorescent lighting
No air conditioning or central heating
Moderate noise levels
