We are seeking dependable Assemblers for 1st and 2nd shift opportunities in La Vergne, TN. This contract/temporary Assembly role is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on manufacturing work, working as part of a team, and contributing to the production of quality finished products.
As an Assembler, you will rotate through different tasks in the assembly process, helping fabricate, assemble, and package manufactured products by hand and with light mechanical assembly equipment. This is a team-oriented production environment where attention to detail, safety, reliability, and a positive attitude are key to success. Candidates can expect a structured workplace with supportive supervision, consistent schedules, and an emphasis on teamwork, safety, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, fabricate, and package manufactured products or components by hand.
- Perform manual and light mechanical assembly tasks using required tools and equipment.
- Rotate through multiple production tasks as part of a team-based assembly process.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the shift.
- Follow all safety practices, procedures, and company policies while reporting unsafe conditions.
- Support team goals by meeting quality, productivity, and attendance expectations.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $16 per hour.
- Job type: Contract/Temporary.
- 1st shift: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
- 2nd shift: Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
- Location: La Vergne, TN.
- Assemble and package manufactured products or components in a production environment.
- Rotate through multiple assembly tasks as part of a team-based manufacturing process.
- Operate required assembly equipment and perform light mechanical assembly functions.
- Maintain quality, safety, and cleanliness standards throughout the work area.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant manufacturing, production, assembly, or related hands-on experience preferred.
- Experience working effectively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to complete tasks thoroughly and accurately.
- Ability to add and subtract 2-digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10s and 100s.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and regularly sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear during the shift.
- Ability to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed.
- Manual dexterity to reach, handle items, work with fingers, and inspect objects and materials.
- Vision abilities including close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
- Commitment to following safety procedures and maintaining a reliable work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous assembly line or manufacturing production experience.
- Familiarity with rotating through multiple workstations in a team assembly environment.
- Experience using basic hand tools, assembly equipment, or light mechanical processes.
