As an Assembler, you will work in a structured manufacturing environment where quality, teamwork, and attention to detail are important. Key Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical and electrical parts and subassemblies according to blueprints, work instructions, and production requirements.
- Use hand tools such as drills, torque wrenches, crimpers, and related assembly tools.
- Read basic wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and work documentation to complete assigned tasks accurately.
- Inspect completed work to confirm quality, accuracy, and compliance with standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following manufacturing procedures.
- Perform other production and assembly duties as assigned.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $19.00 per hour, W2.
- Schedule: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Duration: 6-month contract with possible extension.
- Location: Westford Road, Ayer, MA 01432.
- Assemble parts and subassemblies in a manufacturing environment.
- Read and follow blueprints, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.
- Use hand tools to complete mechanical and electrical assembly tasks.
- Inspect work to ensure quality and accuracy.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of assembly or manufacturing experience required.
- Basic mechanical or electrical assembly knowledge required.
- Ability to read blueprints, assembly instructions, and basic wiring schematics.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, hardware, and proper tool usage.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Reliable transportation required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Mechanical or electrical assembly experience preferred.
- Experience using drills, torque wrenches, crimpers, or similar manufacturing tools preferred.
