We are seeking a dependable Assembler for a contract opportunity in La Vergne, TN. This role is ideal for candidates with assembly, production, manufacturing, or warehouse experience who enjoy hands-on work in a structured, team-oriented environment.
As an Assembler, you will help assemble, fabricate, package, and prepare products while following established work instructions and safety standards. This position offers consistent weekday hours, steady full-time work, and the opportunity to contribute to daily production goals as part of a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, fabricate, and package products according to work instructions.
- Perform manual and light mechanical assembly tasks in a production setting.
- Operate assembly equipment and rotate between assigned production tasks.
- Follow safety procedures, quality standards, and verbal or written instructions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $16 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
- Type: 1-year contract with possible extension.
- Location: La Vergne, TN.
- Assemble and package products in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Operate basic assembly equipment and complete repetitive production tasks.
- Follow written and verbal instructions to meet safety, quality, and productivity standards.
- Support team production goals through consistent attendance, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience preferred.
- Manufacturing, warehouse, or assembly experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, and perform repetitive hand movements throughout the shift.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous assembly line or light mechanical assembly experience.
- Experience working in a fast-paced production or warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with basic quality checks and production safety procedures.
