Job Summary

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Assemblers for immediate contract/temporary opportunities in San Jose, CA. This role supports battery handling, scanning, packaging, and box build assembly work within an electronics, components, and semiconductor manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Unpack batteries from e-books and prepare components for handling.
- Remove batteries using a special tool while following established procedures.
- Scan, track, and package batteries accurately according to instructions.
- Perform box build assembly tasks with precision and consistency.
- Identify issues during the process and ask for assistance when needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production work area.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $23.00 to $27.00 per hour.
- Job type: Contract/Temporary.
- Location: San Jose, CA.
- Day shift: 7:30am to 4:00pm.
- Swing shift: 2:00pm to 10:30pm.
- Multiple immediate openings available.



Required Qualifications and Skills

- Perform battery removal, scanning, packaging, and box build assembly tasks.
- Follow detailed work instructions and production procedures.
- Use basic hand tools or special tools to complete precise assembly work.
- Support production quality by working carefully and communicating issues promptly.

- 3 to 5 years of relevant assembly, manufacturing, production, or related hands-on experience preferred.
- Experience in electronics, components, semiconductor manufacturing, or similar production environments is helpful.
- Ability to follow directions, take notes, and perform repetitive tasks accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and confidence in hands-on abilities.
- Ability to explain prior work experience and responsibilities listed on a resume.
- Willingness to ask for assistance when problems or questions arise.

Preferred Qualifications

- Mechanical background or experience using tools in a production, repair, assembly, or technical environment.
- Experience with battery handling, electronic devices, box build assembly, or component packaging.
- Cross-functional manufacturing skills that may support multiple production tasks or departments.
