We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler for a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity in Goleta, CA. This onsite role is ideal for someone with strong fine motor skills, experience using small hand tools, and a commitment to producing high-quality precision products.
As an Assembler, you will support final assembly of infrared camera products and cores within a lean manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities
- Perform final assembly of infrared camera products and cores within lean manufacturing work cells.
- Follow detailed work instructions, lean manufacturing processes, and quality standards.
- Read and interpret verbal and written assembly instructions accurately.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet established quality requirements.
- Use small hand tools to assemble small, precision parts with accuracy and consistency.
- Train and cross-train on new products and support multiple product lines as needed.
Compensation
- Pay: $19 to $20 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 4/10 schedule.
- Work arrangement: Onsite.
- Location: Goleta, CA.
- Perform final assembly of precision infrared camera products and cores.
- Follow lean manufacturing processes and detailed assembly instructions.
- Inspect completed products for quality and accuracy.
- Accurately read and enter data using computer systems as needed.
- 1 to 2 years of assembly, production, or related manufacturing experience preferred.
- Strong fine motor skills and ability to work with small, precision components.
- Experience using small hand tools with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and production tracking.
- Strong understanding of quality standards in product assembly.
- Dependable team player with flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Soldering experience is highly preferred.
- Experience working in lean manufacturing cells or structured production environments.
- Experience assembling optical, electronic, camera, or other small precision products.
