We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Goleta, CA. This 100% onsite role focuses on the final assembly of small electronic products in a lean manufacturing environment.
This is a strong opportunity for candidates with 1 to 2 years of assembly, production, or manufacturing experience who enjoy hands-on work, precision tasks, and contributing to a collaborative production team. The position offers steady hours, a 4/10 schedule with Fridays off, training on multiple product lines, and the potential for long-term permanent hire.
Assemblers will work with supportive team members and leadership, follow clear work instructions, and help maintain high quality standards across small electronic product lines. Candidates who take pride in accuracy, teamwork, and consistent production output will do well in this environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble small electronic components and finished products according to written and verbal work instructions.
- Perform visual inspections and quality checks to confirm products meet required standards.
- Use small hand tools to complete detailed and precise assembly tasks.
- Support lean manufacturing processes and collaborate with production team members.
- Train on new products and assist across multiple assembly lines as needed.
- Accurately document production activity and enter data when required.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Job Type: Temp-to-Hire, temporary ongoing assignment with potential for permanent hire.
- Schedule: 4/10 workweek with Fridays off.
- Typical Shift: 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with some teams starting between 6:00 AM and 6:30 AM.
- Work Location: 100% onsite in Goleta, CA.
- No background check or drug screen required.
- Assemble small electronic products and components in a production environment.
- Follow detailed work instructions to complete accurate final assembly.
- Perform visual quality inspections to support production standards.
- Document production activity and support workflow across assembly lines.
- 1 to 2 years of assembly, production, manufacturing, or related hands-on experience.
