We are seeking an experienced Assembler for a long-term opportunity in aerospace manufacturing in Oxnard, CA. As an Assembler, you will support the production of aerospace components in a structured, quality-focused environment. Key Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on assembly of aerospace components according to work instructions, drawings, and production requirements.
- Use hand tools, fixtures, and assembly equipment safely, accurately, and efficiently.
- Inspect work for accuracy and quality while maintaining close attention to detail throughout the assembly process.
- Identify and report quality, material, or production concerns to the appropriate team members.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while following all company policies and safety procedures.
- Support daily production goals while maintaining high-quality workmanship and reliability.

Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $20 to $25 per hour, depending on experience.
- 1st and 2nd shift available
- Fridays off, with occasional overtime as needed.
- Position Type: Long-term temporary assignment, 6+ months, with potential for permanent hire after approximately 4 to 6 months based on performance and business needs.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Assemble aerospace components using hand tools, fixtures, and production equipment.
- Follow written work instructions, drawings, travelers, and production documentation.
- Maintain quality, accuracy, and safety standards in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Support production schedules while demonstrating strong attendance and reliability.

- Recent and relevant assembly experience is required.
- 3 to 5 years of related manufacturing or assembly experience is preferred based on role level.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to work confidently with hand tools are required.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions and production documentation.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
- Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and good job stability.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must meet ITAR requirements as a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous aerospace assembly experience.
- J-Standard Certification.
- Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Experience reading drawings, work instructions, production travelers, or related documentation.
- Strong long-term employment history and demonstrated reliability.
