We need a Photonics Assembler! Pay is $22-24/hr DOE. Must meet ITAR, 1st shift, M-F 7:30am-4pm.

JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION TITLE: Photonics Assembler
REPORTS TO: Production Manager

POSITION SUMMARY: We are looking for a meticulous and skilled Photonics Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, aligning, and packaging photonic and photosensor components used in advanced optical systems. This position requires excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to work with precision instruments in a cleanroom or lab environment. Additionally, this position follows all work area related processes and procedures to assemble units, utilizing hand tools, small power equipment, and other special equipment/fixtures.

Experience/Skills:
• 1+ Years experience in small article assembly/manufacturing preferred such as electronics, or medical device assembly.
• Previous clean room experience preferred.
• Ability to inspect and manipulate small and delicate items using a variety of tools
• Knowledge of relevant manufacturing processes, practices, tooling, fixtures, assemblies, and practices.
• Demonstrated ability to consistently maintain high productivity levels.
• Computer experience with knowledge of Microsoft Office products required
• Proficient English data entry skills required
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Good Problem Solving, Multi-tasking and Teamwork skills
• Good decision-making skills
• Ability to maintain high productivity on repetitive tasks while working in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient use of microscope
