Role Overview

We are hiring a Medical Device Assembler to support manufacturing operations in a regulated production environment. This role involves assembling small, precision components while following established quality, documentation, and clean room procedures.

The ideal candidate is detail oriented, comfortable with repetitive work, and experienced working in ISO-certified or regulated manufacturing settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble medical devices and subassemblies according to established procedures, sequence, and production standards

Complete and maintain accurate production documentation, including device history records, data sheets, and lot control records

Follow quality system requirements, good documentation practices, and good manufacturing practices

Operate manufacturing and measurement equipment following training, which may include microscopes, test equipment, calipers, pressure gauges, and other tools

Work within a clean room environment while adhering to all cleanliness and safety procedures

Communicate effectively with supervisors, leads, and team members regarding priorities, schedules, and material needs

Adapt to changes in procedures, product lines, and manufacturing processes

Cross-train on additional product lines and assist with training of other assemblers as needed

Support continuous improvement efforts using Lean Manufacturing principles

Maintain a safe, organized work environment and follow all safety and housekeeping guidelines

Meet attendance requirements and support overtime or varying shifts as needed

Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

In lieu of a diploma, equivalent manufacturing experience will be considered

1–2 years of experience in medical device assembly or ISO-certified manufacturing

2–3 years of experience required if no diploma

Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal work instructions

Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for assembling small parts

Ability to perform repetitive work at a consistent pace

Experience working in clean room environments preferred

Familiarity with Good Documentation Practices, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Lean Manufacturing is a plus

Basic computer skills, including experience using Windows-based systems and site-specific applications
